Abstract
The article defines the priority areas for the protection of the health of children and adolescents, carried out a content analysis of the legal framework, revealed a negative trend in the prevalence of pathology in this population group. Particular attention has to be paid to the consistency and interdepartmental systemic approach that takes into account territorial features in the formation of strategic priorities for regional health care, especially within the framework of previously approved regional programs for the development of children's health care, and the results obtained can become the basis for making effective and competent management decisions by territorial health authorities.
