Abstract

Based on the analysis of the existing European norms in judicial ethics, the article shows its main international pro-visions, identifies peculiarities due to historical traditions and national characteristics, focuses on the contradictions of international and national ethical standards governing the behavior of judges, emphasizes ethical aspects of the conduct of judges.
