Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate different types of cleaning and washing equipment for maintenance cleaning of stairs by means of practical experiments and by value analysis. The following evaluation criteria were used in the study: suitability, lightness, ease of cleaning, ease of handling, good working position, suitability for the removal of sand and fine dirt, working speed, strain at work, resultant cleanliness and suitability for tasks other than floor cleaning.
