Abstract
Pervasive use of distributed generation in power systems provides possibility to use these advantages in different part. Among different sources, photovoltaic cells in Iran has improved extensively and have been used in different household, industrial, commercial and even agriculture parts. This study assesses the possibility to establish DC micro grids based on photovoltaic cells in remote rural places. In this paper, ‘Beano Esteki’ village in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province was selected and primary simulations occurred to perform DC micro grids. This study shows numerous advantages for establishment of DC micro grids in remote rural area and it can offer a model for electrification of remote rural places.
