Abstract

Pedagogical competences have been imposed in relation to the development of face-to-face and virtual education policies in the world. In Colombia, the competency-based curriculum has been used at all levels of the Education System. However, there are shortcomings in the training of teachers in regard to the implementation and execution of different activities that allow the full development of the school and university environment. The research focuses on the pedagogical competences of the teacher of Physical Education at the Education level. It is a journey that took place, taking into account the orientations of qualitative research, under the hermeneutical paradigm and the ethnographic method. Likewise, the observation techniques were used. For the theorization process, the authors’ approaches were taken into account, who proposes stages or levels for the development of a research: categorization, structuring, contrasting and theorizing. At the end of the research, ponders were made on the harmonic relationship in Physical Education, where the achievement of the objectives depends on the pedagogical skills assumed by teachers with teamwork, based on values, motor skills, sports, playful and other expressions of the movement seeking the fullness of the spirit in the body-soul relationship.
