Abstract

The temperature dependence of the dielectric constant, the dielectric loss tangaent and the band gap at various fixed high hydrostatic pressures have been investigated, in Sn2P2S6 ferroelectric crystals and also the pressure dependences at various constant temperatures have been studied. It was found that on the ferroelectric p-T phase diagram of Sn2P2S6 two specific points were presented; the first being tricritical point at p tcp - (0.04 ± 0.03)GPa and the second - the triple point at p tp- (0.20 ± 0.03) GPa pressure. It is assumed that for (PbySn1-y)2P2(SexS1-x)6 ferroelectric solid solutions under high hydrostatic pressures the line of the tricritical Lifshits points is induced.
