Abstract

This study examines the impacts of authentic learning on a group of adult learners enrolled in a postgraduate business program. The instruments used for data analysis consist of the student learning analytics report and Student Satisfaction Survey. These documents were reviewed to examine the experiences shared among a group of adult learners pertaining to their perception of their satisfaction towards the authentic learning approach and to explore the impacts of the authentic learning approach on adult learners during the COVID-19 pandemic. An explanatory model was developed that is underpinned by adult learning theory. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings of this study are expected to be relevant and practical for higher education institutions and stakeholders.
