Abstract

There are currently three main parties in British politics—the Conservative Party, the Labour Party and the Liberal Democrats—and since the general election of May 2010, the country has had a coalition government comprising two of these parties: the Conservatives led by David Cameron and the Liberal Democrats led by Nick Clegg.
