Abstract

The paper considers the general approach to the formation of models for innovative development of Russian regions as the basis for making decisions on specific governance actions aimed at the reformation of their economies. The reliance on the social-psychological approaches makes it possible to take account of a greater number of factors and serves a basis for generation of a whole class of prognostic models. An example of such a model is offered localizing an innovative complex in the studied region, and potentially useful data for socioeconomic project planning are produced.
