Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of causes and factors of night maximum occurrence of surface ozone concentration observed at the station of environmental baseline monitoring in Karadag nature reserve. It is shown that the probable reason for the increase in night-time ozone concentrations is the increase of average wind speeds in the atmospheric surface layer. This leads to increased turbulent diffusion, which in turn activates the vertical migration of air

Работа посвящена исследованию причин и факторов появления ночных максимумов концентрации приземного озона, наблюдающихся при его измерениях на станции Фонового экологического мониторинга Карадагского природного заповедника. Ощутимое увеличение концентраций приземного озона в ночные часы зачастую наблюдается также в других городах России, в том числе и Москве [18], что позволяет рассматривать данное явление как способное при определенных условиях возникать закономерно.
