Abstract
AbstractThe purpose of the study was to determine the organizational structure of effective middle level schools measured by the achievement gain of students on standardized achievement tests. The study utilized achievement scores obtained from middle level schools in both reading and mathematics as well as survey research to determine teacher, department chair/team leader, principal and superintendent perception of the organizational structure of participating middle level school in Missouri.
