Abstract
The research aimed to identify the efficiency of Health information Systems in Jordanian hospitals, and identify the opportunities that Health information Systems provided to develop Jordanian health care. This study based on quantitative method depending on questionnaire that were distributed on a sample consists of (278) administrators in the Jordanian hospitals (Specialized Hospital & Al-Bashir Hospital). The results show that Health Information system applied efficiently Jordanian hospitals. The results show that there is significant relationship between Health Information System and develop Jordanian health care. The study recommends the leaders of the hospitals to employ Health Information system in developing the service in hospitals by finding better ways to keep up with the international standards in quality of service in hospitals by directing health information systems to the quality of work and the speed of implementation.
