Abstract

Objective To investigate the change rule of serum levels of C-reactive protein and liver and kidney function in pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome (PIH) patients and its clinical significance. Methods 96 cases of PIH (50 cases of mild PIH,46 cases of severe PIH) and 50 cases of normal pregnant women (control group) were collected to detect CRP,Alb,ALT,AST,GGT,ALP,Urea,UA,Cr by automatic biochemical analyzer. The result was statistically analyzed. Results The serum level of CRP in PIH patients was higher than that in control group (P < 0.01),the serum level of CRP in severe PIH patients was obviously higher than that in mild PIH patients (P < 0.01).The serum levels of Alb in two PIH groups were lower than that in control group (P < 0.05),the serum level of Alb in severe PIH group was obviously lower than that in mild PIH group (P < 0.05).The serum levels of ALT,AST,GGT,ALP,Urea,UA and Cr in PIH patients were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05),the serum levels of UA and Cr in severe PIH patients were higher than those in mild PIH patients (P < 0.05),there were no significant differences in ALT,AST,GGT,ALP and Urea between two PIH groups (P > 0.05).Conclusions The serum level of CRP is higher in PIH patients, associated with the severity of the illness. The liver and kidney function in PIH patients are damaged. The serum level of UA rises significantly, which can be a good monitoring indicator of PIH condition.
