Abstract

ABSTRACTOn Thursday, June 7, as part of the NASIG 2018 preconferences, Terry Reese led a day-long workshop entitled “The Now and Future MarcEdit: A Day-Long Workshop.” MarcEdit, a metadata editing utility, was originally designed and created by Reese in 1999 at Oregon State University. The workshop focused on the enhancements and other changes made to the program by the MarcEdit 7 update, released at the end of 2017. The workshop also provided an overview of the basic functionalities of MarcEdit, using examples provided by Reese coupled with questions from audience members.
