Abstract

Numerous languages allow nouns to be distinguished only by their inflections. Any prefix or suffix that conveys grammatical information is an inflection. Inflections are used to show the grammatical function of a noun (i.e., subjects take one set of endings, direct objects another, and indirect objects yet another). Modern languages like Lithuanian and Russian and ancient languages like Classical Latin and Sanskrit utilize inflections to do this. These ends also indicate whether a word is solitary or plural. This paper explains the Noun phrases in English sentences especially with the usage of English Syntax.
