Abstract
The facial, lateral, axial, and dorsal thermograms of 52 healthy young volunteers were studied. A high degree of asymmetry was encountered. The supra-orbital areas could be distinguished in the majority of the cases. Several distinct thermal patterns matching the vascular anatomy were found to exist. An intra-cranial tumour cannot be detected on the basis of asymmetry but only from disturbance of the thermographic patterns.
