Abstract
The paper deals with five levels of motives (needs) of modern students according to the knownA. Maslow model of needs. The safety need psychology is shown to be connected with a psychosocial dissonance as overcoming the arising mental tension and the choice of the development route at the personality level and also with a facilitation of social interaction as influence of the strangers who do not participate in social interaction directly, and social environment influence on the development trajectory choice at the social level. Empirical data are obtained on the basis of a technique "Motivation of educational/professional activity" (V.V. Vasina,R.G. Khalitov). The comparative analysis of students’ safety need is carried out. Psychological interpretation of a low level indicator of safety need is given.

Summary
Значительная часть работ по безопасности ограничивается описанием, при этом не рассматривается психологический механизм проблемы безопасности. Елагин в своей статье описывает потребность в безопасности и дает рекомендации по ее контролю [11]. Проведя анализ отечественной и зарубежной литературы, отмечает, что проблема психологии безопасности как самостоятельное научное направление и приоритетная научно-практическая задача целостно до сегодняшнего времени не рассматривалась [1]. Зинченко в другой своей работе рассматривает методологические основы изучения психологии безопасности [18]. В нашем исследовании психологического механизма потребности в безопасности значительное место занимают основные аспекты социального взаимодействия – психосоциальный диссонанс и фасилитация социального взаимодействия, которые являются ключевыми, и, соответственно, дальнейший обзор литературы связан с этими явлениями. Мы рассматриваем понятие фасилитации в континууме «улучшение – ухудшение», «фасилитация – ингибиция» и определяем словом «фасилитация» весь континуум, имея в виду как улучшение, так и ухудшение социального взаимодействия. Нами предложена концепция фасилитации социального взаимодействия, обобщающая и структурирующая все существующие понятия [9]
