Abstract
The National Dose Registry for radiation workers in Canada is a centralised dose record system operated by the Radiation Protection Bureau, of the Canadian Department of National Health and Welfare. The Registry contains over 300,000 occupational radiation dose histories, some dating back over 30 years, and includes all monitored radiation workers in Canada. The paper outlines information content, criteria for access, and the file structure of the Registry.
