Abstract
SUMMARY The Model of Multiple Oppression is used to outline the various oppressed group memberships which impact on the lives of Black and Latino HIV-infected injecting drug users. Descriptions of the important issues for each level of oppression are discussed. Clinical examples are given to describe how the factors manifest and what types of clinical interventions are most effective.
