Abstract
The mobility of mass identified D+ ions in helium gas has been measured by the 'four-gauze' electrical shutter method. The low field mobility corrected to 273K is 24.9+or-0.3cm2V-1s-1. The helium gas pressure in the mobility tube was in the range 1.85-4.12 Torr, and the deuterium gas concentration was about 0.01%.
