Abstract

This chapter scrutinizes the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and green behavior, and the mediating effects of organizational identification and trust on the said relationship. Employees from green companies in National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines formed part as respondents of the study, and they were identified using the purposive sampling method. To measure the research hypotheses, causal-predictive research design via partial least squares – structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized. The findings revealed that CSR has a significant and positive relationship with organizational trust, organizational identification, and green behavior. Furthermore, organizational trust and organizational identification have a direct effect on green behavior. The mediation analysis also revealed that trust and identification within the organization have an indirect effect on the relationship between CSR and green behavior.
