Abstract
A simple passive SSNTD, which is based on double-chamber method and used for measuring equilibrium factor (F) for radon, has been developed. The factor F and the ratio D1/D2 possess a linear relationship approximately. The calibration experiment has been finished in Standard Radon Chamber in Henyang, China. The relative error of calibration factor for radon is about 13%, and less is the effect of relative humidity and aerosol concentration. The calibration factor for F is very scattered, it is mainly affected by relative humidity and aerosol concentration. The reasons have been discussed briefly.
