Abstract

The concept of personification is, in our opinion, the key to solving some fundamental problems of age and clinical psychology. Firstly, it is required when analyzing the process of gaining independence in early childhood. Secondly, without it there is no way to analyze the traumatic situation and the phenomenon of «personification introjection». In a chain of dramatic situations, the personalized image of alternating beneficiaries has a single narrative component, which is destructively enriched with each new trauma of the victim. An individual-interpersonal «traumatic funnel» is formed, which does not have its own power of drawing the victim into traumatic memories. Such a force is the flow of the victim’s own consciousness, directed into the past. Being affectively limited and disoriented within the framework of the performing position formed as a result of trauma, the victim, in fact, exposes himself to suffering, This performing position, which is closely related to the group form of fear, is the result of the disintegration of the associated activity into indicative and performing parts and the fixation of polarized positions for the beneficiary and his victim. The panic fear of the victim, destroying the indicative part of the individual’s activity, exists in the individual, but not at all for the individual, but to ensure group functions on the part of the powerful leader. Keywords: personification, personifier, beneficiary, the relationship of power
