Abstract
Coad continues in this article his "The First Century of the New BrunswickStage", previous published in this Journal in v.5:1 (1941), v. 5:2 (1942), and v.6:1 (1943). The account takes us through the 23 years of the Masonic Hall Opera House's career until its destruction in 1896. Coad notes that "The new theatre in Masonic Hall made possible a much more impressive program of public amusement than the small city on the Raritan had yet seen."
