Abstract

For a simple dynamic model of a polymer chain consisting of alternating bulky groups and flexible fragments, the dependence of the orientational mobility of the rigid chain element, characterized by the frequency of the loss factor ω m , on the length of the flexible fragment has been studied. The case of kinetically rigid and flexible fragments has been examined. The influence of the thickness of the flexible fragment and local hydrodynamic interactions on ω m has been evaluated.
