Abstract
Road impregnations improve energy efficiency and safety of road infrastructure. Two stages of the road impregnation life cycle are considered: analytical research and production design. At the first stage, for the selection of materials with the necessary set of properties, a computer quality management system was created, which carries out a system analysis and selection of the optimal compositions of road impregnations. The system includes promising road impregnations, their most important quality indicators with appropriate analysis methods and instruments. At the second stage of the life cycle, a modular installation was developed to obtain a new road impregnating composition. To create a pilot production of protective impregnating compositions, a computer-aided design system has been developed. The system analyzes all modular production, each module and the main elements of the module. Automation of research and design allows improving the quality of results, reducing the time of corresponding work, as well as increasing energy and resource efficiency.
