Abstract

The article analyses fundamental differences between different types of man on the basis of metaphysical theory of personality: dependent and mediocre, personality and genius. Differences in understanding of ideas, truth, morality, duties, responsibility, ability to perceive and understand philosophical categories and concepts have been revealed. Different content of consciousness and self-consciousness, professional and intellectual capabilities, motives, thinking, ability to reflection have been well-proven. Fundamental differences in the attitude toward society, the process of making decisions, existential aspects of human vital functions have been revealed. It has been grounded that metaphysical theory of personality is able to set forth criteria for understanding of human essence.
