Abstract
A novel tricyclic oxylipin containing δ-lactone, cyclopentane and epoxide rings and a conjugated diene, has been isolated from the marine red alga Agardhiella subulata. The structure, including partial stereochemistry, was determined by NMR and GC-MS analysis of menthoxycarbonyl derivatives.
