Abstract
Objective Analysis of basic medical expenses and pay conditions to peasant patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the city of Jiangmen in Guangdong province,the establishment and improvement of health care system for peasants is urgently needed.Methods General state of health,the times of hospitalization,the total cose for hospitalization and the way to pay were reviewed and made them into form.Results Nasopharyngeal cancinoma is the head of the list in the incidence among peasants,the ratio of male and female incidence is 2.53:1,46-55 is the high incidence in the age group of NPC.89.9 percent of the peasant patients hospitalized only once,with a total expenditure of less than 30,000 accounted for 86.84 percent,97.37 percent of the farmers to pay medical expenses of patients is at their own expense.Conclusions To the peasants,disease is the most common kind of risk during the much real threatenlt should speed up the construction of rural health care system,establish and improve the rural medical assistance system,improve the rural medical feasibility.
