Abstract
The study focuses on the development of composite material containing 50 wt. % alumina (Al2O3) and 50 % mass Ce0.4Zr0.5Y0.05La0.05Ox solid solution by the method of co-precipitation. Also, samples of pure alumina (Al2O3) and pure solid solution Ce0.4Zr0.5Y0.05La0.05O2 were prepared for comparison. Specific surface areas and the pore size distributions were determined by low-temperature adsorption/desorption of nitrogen. Oxide structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. Dynamic of changes in surface areas and crystalline size was investigated. It was shown that the composite has a surface and structure being more thermally stable than the pure composite chemical compound or their mechanical mixture.
