Petersen, H. & Berstad, A. 1973. The Interaction between Pentagastrin and Cholecystokinin on Pancreatic Secretion in Man. Scand. J. Gastroent. 8, 257-263.Graded doses of cholecystokinin or pentagastrin were given as continuous intravenous infusion on separate days, either alone or in combination with a fixed dose of the other agent, to each of three healthy volunteers. The gastric and duodenal secretions were collected separately. No significant effect of pentagastrin on the cholecystokinin-induced pancreatic secretion of bicarbonate and enzymes was found.
