Abstract
Biden tried to attract young Americans during the 2020 election campaign. He was supported by environmental and human rights youth movements, which, after the conclusion of an alliance between J. Biden and B. Sanders expressed their support for the Biden-Harris team. The demands of progressive youth movements in the field of education, health, social protection and ecology could be traced in the election program of the democratic candidate for the presidency. However, the implementation of election promises by the administration of J.Biden and K. Harris were partial at best. Together with other factors, this negatively affected the support of the current administration by both youth activists and young voters.
