Abstract

The gel forming zirconium, titanium and ferric succinate sols have been exposed to ultrasonic radiations. The conductance, pH and gelling time of the exposed and unexposed sols have been determined. It has been observed that the ultrasonic irradiation causes an increase in the conductance and gelling time and a decrease in pH. These results have been discussed and explained.
