Abstract

Taman Cengkok Asri Tourism is one of the tourist attractions in the Cengkok Village area, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency. The village entrusted the Taman Cengkok Asri Tourism to BUMDes Cengkok Asri and was assisted in managing it by village youth around the tourist attraction. By utilizing village-owned agricultural land and funds from BUMDes, this tourism has developed well. The method in this research uses quantitative methods. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews with residents around Taman Cengkok Asri. The results obtained from this research show that Taman Cengkok Asri Tourism has an important role in the progress and welfare of the community around the tourist attraction. Then, the strategies used by the Taman Cengkok Asri Tourism management in carrying out tourism development by improving tourist facilities so that they are superior and attractive to tourists, determining costs, focusing on increasing visitors. The recommendation given to future researchers is to study the development of the Taman Cengkok Asri Tourism Village after implementing the roles and strategies used by BUMDes and then managing it by youth and the surrounding community. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of tourist facilities on the welfare of the community in Cengkok Village, to determine the influence of tourist visits on the welfare of the community in Cengkok Village, and to determine the influence of tourist facilities and tourist visits on welfare in Cengkok Village.
