Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the most strategic sector of the national economy and concern the livelihoods of many people, making them the backbone of the national economy. This study aims to identify the sales techniques used by MSMEs in Kota Rantau, Kabupaten Tapin, calculate the costs, revenues, incomes, profits, and business feasibility of MSMEs in Kota Rantau, Kabupaten Tapin, and identify the challenges faced by MSMEs in Kota Rantau, Kabupaten Tapin. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a census approach. The results of the study show that the sales techniques of MSMEs in Kota Rantau, Kabupaten Tapin indicate that all samples have marketing strategies, particularly in determining target markets by using the same technique of observing potential customers around their business locations. The costs, revenues, incomes, profits, and business feasibility of MSMEs in Kota Rantau, Kabupaten Tapin show that all samples have varying costs, revenues, incomes, profits, and business feasibility. The challenges faced by MSMEs in Kota Rantau, Kabupaten Tapin show that all samples experience almost the same challenges as each other.
