Abstract
ABSTRACT The influence of researches results of the welding circuit magnetic field on the seam formation at welding steel 12X18H10T by weight with a non-consumable electrode in argon are presented. The possibility of retaining the molten metal of the weld pool by the magnetic field of the current flowing along a rectilinear conductor located in the plane of the welded joint above the tail of the weld pool is shown. It is established that the efficiency of holding the molten metal of the weld pool is largely determined by the location of the current lead, the speed and rigidity of the welding mode.
