Abstract

Entanglement of two artificial two-level atoms with degenerate two-photon transitions is considered in the case in which the atoms interact with the thermal single-mode field in an ideal cavity. The possibility of controlling the atomic entanglement degree in such a system due to the induction of atomic coherence and direct dipole-dipole interaction of atoms is shown.
