Abstract

This paper presents the initial stage of the design process of elastically supported cable net roofs. The form-finding and static analyses with large deformations are performed for two examples of structures. In both cases, the influence of real supports stiffness on the tensile force distribution and geometry of cable nets was compared. It was confirmed that it significantly influences designing of the final cable net configuration
