Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of quality of work-life and its dimensions on organizational commitment among nurses working in Hasanuddin University Hospital. A cross-sectional study was used in this study. Data were collected using a questionnaire. A total of 123 bedside nurses at Hasanuddin University Hospital completed the questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS software. For statistical analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was used. Results of the regression analysis showed Quality of Work-Life explained 43.8% of organizational commitment variance. The result of the study showed that the quality of work-life (p=0.000<0.05) statistically significantly influence organizational commitment. Among QWL dimensions, save the environment, career development and pride had a significant effect on organizational commitment. It concluded that the strongest QWL dimension affecting nurses' organizational commitment was pride.
