Abstract

The cultivation of computing thinking in primary school has attracted the attention of all countries in the world. Based on the fifth grade information technology curriculum of primary school, this paper constructs a practice link based on problem solving, namely, five main links: observe, write, paste or draw, attempt or create, share. It also verifies whether the practice link is conducive to promoting the development of students' computing thinking. The results show that, the practice link based on problem solving can not only promote the improvement of algorithm expression ability and programming ability of primary school students, but also exercise their ability to solve problems, establish and develop computing thinking. This practice link can provide feasible strategies for information technology courses in primary schools, and provide reference for the research and practice of computing thinking cultivation of primary school students in China.
