Abstract

Influence of the oxygen deficiency was investigated for high Tc superconducting oxides (La·Ba)2CuO4-y by measuring electrical resistivity. It is found that the temperature dependence of the normal resistivity changes from metallic to semiconducting as oxygen deficiency increases and that oxygen deficiency degrades the superconductivity.
