Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of health education on patients with tuberculous pleurisy.Methods In our hospital from 2012 December to 2013 July 60 cases of tuberculous pleurisy patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 30 cases in each group , the control group was received routine nursing care , the observation group was strengthened health education based on the control group .Awareness of health knowledge , treatment compliance , self-care ability , life quality and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.Results Health knowledge score , treatment compliance , efficacy, overall self-care ability score were higher than those in the control group , the hospitalization time was shorter than that in the control group with statistical significance （ P〈0.05） .Life quality in physical function , role function, social function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group , nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group with statistical significance （ P〈0.05 ） .Conclusions 〈br〉 Health education is beneficial to improve the treatment compliance and self -care ability of patients with tuberculous pleurisy and improve their life quality ..
