Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of diversified health education model on the health knowledge and the quality of life of the retinopathy patients. Methods A total of 108 cases of patients with diabetic retinopathy treated in our hospital from October 2014 to October 2015 were selected and were randomly divided into two groups, 54 cases in each group.The control group was given the routine health education, while the observation group was given the diversified health education model.The health knowledge, quality of life and compliance behavior of the two groups were compared. Results The awareness of health knowledge of the observation group were all significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The physical health, bodily pain, role physical function, general health, emotional role function, energy, mental health, emotional role function and social function scores of the observation group were higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The compliance behaviors of regular follow-up, observation of visuality and prevention of infection of the observation group were all superior to that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions The implementation of diversified health education model to retinopathy patients can effectively improve the awareness rate of health knowledge, improve the quality of life of patients and improve the incidence of compliance behavior.
