Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the influence of different land uses on the chemical and physicochemical properties of typical chernozem. Objects of study: typical chernozem on carbonate loess-like loam (HaplicChernozem, Loamic, Pachic). Research has shown that the extensive use of typical chernozem is accompanied by its active dehumusification, a decrease in metabolic capacity, hydrolytic acidity, as well as the amount of exchangeable bases, however, when it is transferred to a fallow, more favorable conditions for the humus formation process begin to be created, resulting in soil properties begin to recover, which is manifested in an increase in the content of organic carbon, total nitrogen and a change in physicochemical parameters, closely related to the humus content. Keywords: TYPICAL CHERNOZEM, PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF CHERNOZEM, LAND USE, HUMUS, NITROGEN, ORGANIC CARBON
