Abstract

As a model system of nanocrystalline FeSiBCuNb alloys, multilayers consisting of nanocrystalline FeSi(Cu) and amorphous FeBNb(Cu) alloys were prepared. In the copper-containing multilayers, all copper diffuses from the amorphous into the FeSi layers during annealing below T A = 500°C. Therefore, copper is not a part of the residual amorphous phase in nanocrystalline FeSiBCuNb.
