Abstract

The article investigates the main peculiarities of administrative-territorial reform imple-mentation in Ukraine. The main works of modern researchers in relation to this issue are considered. The author analyses the dynamics of capital investments and the number of the employed population aged 15 to 70 in the regions of Ukraine. It can be noted that the dynamics of most regions` development in 2017 in comparison to previous years is positive. The percentage of capital investment growth is higher in regions where a large number of united territorial communities can be traced. We can also say, that the dynamics of labour market indicators in some areas are improving. The magnitude of capital investment and the business climate on regional labour markets affect the number of subjective and objective factors such as the armed conflict in the east of our country, and the rate of return on invested capital, inflation, the value of wages, the ability to make profits and revenues abroad, etc.The results of large-scale reforms can not immediately appear themselves in the indicator of growth. However, the initiated changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the country will nec-essarily give a positive result, particularly in terms of financing and giving more proxies to the local authorities. It is said that the reform of the Ukrainian administrative-territorial system is a balanced and fairly correct decision at the present stage of national economic growth that can positively influence the country's regions social and economic development. In our opinion, the previous format was imperfect and manifested in the inefficient allocation and reallocation of budgetary resources to the needs of soci-ety. The modern model of the administrative-territorial structure of Ukraine is aimed at ensuring the stable development of our state`s territorial entities. Because it provides a change of proxies in terms of local taxes and fees introduction and mobilization, which will enable to fill local budgets and effectively redistribute financial resources.
