Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of in situ scleral covering for hydroxyapatite orbital implant implantation.Methods After evisceration in the 22 patients (22 eyes),the autologous sclera was folded anteriorly and opened posterierly for wrapping the implants.They were followed up for 3 to 15 months.Results All patients had good results,with no implant exposure,the movement was good.Conclusion The modified hydroxyapatite orbital implant surgery is safe,less complication with excellent outcomes.
