Abstract

Travy is a new traveling site which focus on personalised travel planner and destination of information that can help travelers who do not have time to prepare their own travel plans. Travy application is already available in the Google Playstore and has been soft-launched but has not been promoted to the market because there are still some bugs in the application. Before launching to the public, it is essential to understand the factors that encourage the user intention in accepting the use of technology. Researchers identify the factor that most important of the potential users, especially travelers using the Travy application, regarding their intention to use it. Whereas understanding the acceptance of new technology by users is extensive and can help develop business and technology in the future. This research analyzes the factors that most important on behavioral intention of Travy mobile application towards Travy’s users in Jakarta and Bandung using The Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT2) model. In this research, the method used is quantitative by doing an experimental method and distributing questionnaires online to gather data from 35 respondents of the travelers who fit the criteria. The data analysis uses descriptive analysis. The expecting result of this study is there are five indicators that have a very high interval range which is in the 4.21 - 5.00 range, and there are two indicators that are in the medium range with a score of range is 2.61 - 3.40.
