Abstract
The natural gas sector in Iraq is one of the most important sources of energy after oil, as this sector imposed itself to be a major factor and supportive of economic policy, so it is necessary to develop plans and strategies for its optimal investment through specialized foreign investments in this field to reduce and prevent burning gas, raise its productivity and increase its reserves and exports, thus achieving economic diversification of the country and not relying on crude oil as the only source to supplement the general budget foreign.
