Abstract

In this paper, the micro-climate of waterfront landscape in Lingnan area is analyzed by numerical simulation. The water scale in the waterfront landscape of Lingnan area are studied. The quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis are used to analyze the relationship between water scale and climate factors like wind speed and air temperature, and the influence of water scale on the micro-climate in waterfront landscape are studied furtherly. The results show that water scale has a significant effect on the micro-climate of the waterfront environment in, which is beneficial to adjust temperature and humidity in micro-climate. The thermal environment effect of water area including cooling and moistening is more obvious than that of water depth changing. The area and depth of the water have a regulating function of regional climate in a certain extent.
